The Brief:
Unilever is embarking on an exciting transformation to become a Data Intelligent organisation, where every decision is driven by top-notch data and cutting-edge analytics (AI/ML), propelling their growth and boosting productivity.
To support this vision, the Human Resources team has enlisted our expertise to manage project hiring across their multiple divisions. Our goal is to help them meet their annual gender balance targets on time.
Unilever is passionately dedicated to achieving gender balance throughout the company, with an impressive milestone of having 50% of leadership roles held by women. In the traditionally male-dominated field of Data & Analytics, Technology Applications and Procurement, Unilever has tasked us with helping to enhance gender diversity and ensure unbiased hiring practices.
In our proposal to Unilever, we tailored a creative outsourcing recruitment strategy that prioritises Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). Our comprehensive solution spans key regions including the UK, India, USA, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Brazil, Singapore, Argentina, Mexico and the Netherlands, aligning perfectly with Unilever's ambitious goals.
The Solution:
We swiftly assembled a specialised team comprising an Account Director, Account Manager, and Talent Acquisition Partners, supported by a global Shared Service centre. Together, we rephrased and reformatted job ads to ensure gender-neutral descriptions. Leveraging our salary benchmarking, competitive analysis, and market insights, we devised the most effective strategy to attract top talent.
As part of our collaboration on their global talent acquisition strategy, we launched a LinkedIn campaign targeting women in data. This campaign featured inspiring videos of female leaders at Unilever sharing their experiences, accompanied by relevant job ads. Additionally, we established a talent pipeline program for high-potential candidates, providing them with the necessary training to qualify for Unilever roles.
Currently, we launched a DE&I 5-part video series, celebrating our successful three-year journey. This campaign reflects on the significant impact we have had on both Unilever and personal lives, highlighting our achievements and growth over the years. Click here to see the videos.
